Dan  Swiger

Owner
I am a graduate of Lake High School in Hartville, Ohio. I spent 3 years in the US Army serving in Korea and Vietnam
I had my own gas station and tire and auto repair business in south Canton in the 70s. I worked for different tire companies in the 80's. I bought The American Tire store on W.Tusc. in 1990 and renamed it Dan's American Tire. I had to move from that location in 2004 and, at that time, I partnered with Butch McLaughlin to be part owner to help with the move. We also became a Goodyear Tire Dealer at that time. I have been married now for over 3 years to my best friend, Cynthia. I have 2 grown girls and she has 3 grown boys. We live in the Myers Lake area.

I went to Lincoln High School. From there, I did OJT for several shops in town and a new car dealership before joining Dan's American Tire in 1991 as head mechanic until 2006. Then, I went into partnership with Dan when we made our move to our present location. I have a son, a daughter, and 3 grand children.

Ed Mandolesi

Service Manager
I graduated Alliance High School. I served 8 1/2 yrs in the U.S.Navy. I have extensive automotive background with Toyota and BMW dealerships in the Cincinnati area. I have served 7 years as a service manager. Also, 1 1/2 years as service manager for Cain Toyota of Canton. I managed an All Tune and Lube on Fulton Road in Canton for 2 years. I was an Outside Sales Representative for World Wide Auto Parts for 1 1/2 years. I have worked for Dan's American Tire for 12 years. I have been married to my life partner, Margaret, for 20 years. I have a daughter, 2 step grandchildren, 7 grand children, and 3 cats.
